a buddy just sent me this email about his first cross country race:
I made every mistake in the book Sunday at Stillwater and
still finished 8th (I think, I'm still confused about all of it). But my
question is, what kind of sissy sport is it where they expect you to kindly pull over to the side just because they rev and scream when they come up behind you?? In moto that's a good way to get a face full of roost hehe...
seriously though it was very cool, but I found I was in terrrrrible shape, thought I was gonna die! I'll do another of those races as soon as I can.
can you tell he's a motocrosser?:D

There must've been some enduro riders in the mix. The one cross country I ran there wasn't anyone pulling over for me.:think
