I Need Help!

my back shock on my 1998 XR250 has only just been rebuilt ,(bushing.seals ect.) and is leaving huge black sticky marks on my shaft. The shock is all in good condition and is straight. (shaft).there is no oil that i can see.
What the heck is going on!!???:think

that stick black stuff has gone but the shaft feels greasy. is it spose to?

Can't help you there, but if you get grease marks on you shock's shaft right after service it is possible that the technician likes to use lots of seal grease when he installs seal heads. This is not what I'd call normal. Give the shop a call and ask them....
