I need a pipe and silencer setup for my 01 YZ 125 and I don't know which ones to get. I need more bottom end power so I'm thinking FMF Gnarly pipe and one of my friends ( that is a very good rider ) said I should get the PC shorty silencer.
Does this sound like a good set up? Or is there something that would be better.

definetly go w/ the fmf fatty if u want more low end -mid- and high. For your silencer go w/ the fmf shorty. Definetly helps. remember to jet.
i have A 2000 yz 125 and this setup is great.....

I cringe every time I hear anyone recommend a shorty silencer. Those things are obnoxiously loud.

it is loud but if u want a definite low end punch go with a shorty
