02' yz250f for cross country

I am planning on getting one and wondered if anybody has raced a 2002 or 2001 yz250f in a cross country race if so how did it do.
and one more question do any of you know of any where in western north carolina that you can race cross country or enduro

Yo bigair- yes the 250F would be an excellent XC bike. I raced my first hare scramble on my 426 a couple weeks ago and it was good, I think a 250F would be even better. A friend of mine raced his 250F the same day and he beat me...
