What's the most air you could get on a KDX before you would go and break anything.

Brake the bike or the rider?

The KDX is a good jumper, the trick is the landing. I easily jump a 45' table top at the local track on my 98 KDX 220, you just have to make sure you land it. Coming up short isn't to bad but over shoot it and the KDX is gonna bottom. The trick is to work your way up to the jump, don't try to kill yourself the first time. LOL. The KDX is no MX bike but it isnt a bad high flyer as long as you don't go insane. I'm 6'2" and 200lb and I jump eveything at the track the full mx guys do, the thing is the mx bikes are more forgiving when you make a mistake.

stiffen the front forks for greater confidence jumping!! until then stay away from landing on them!! when in doubt ,gas it!!

I cased a pretty good double at Budds Creek a few years ago, and rode it out. The bike was fine, but I was seeing stars.
