fork oil, tool for stiffer forks?

hi,, i was wondering,, will extra oil in the forks help make a kdx forks stiffer? also, will a higher weight oil stiffen forks?

More oil(or smaller air gap-same thing) will make the forks stiffer on the last third of the travel,thicker oil will make the forks stiffer all the way through the travel,i read the kdx has soft fork springs so depending on your weight you may need to get stiffer ones.A good cheap thicker fork oil is mobil 1 atf-its sounds strange but it has been used by many with good results.

how much extra would you add to your forks? can too much oil be harmful?

It is harmful to put too much in-a manual will tell you the max and min limits.
