water pump seals, urgent please help

I got the water pump oil seal part numbers from one of you guys and went ahead and ordered them. the is one the size of a dime and a centimeter tall, but i cannot find where to put the other small one. me and a mechanic looked it over and we couldent find a place for it. where does this go? i checked me schematic on my service maual. also, i half of the bearing is sticking out, it should be in further right? please help me i have to get this fixed fast.

Well not having it in front of me I’m guessing your bike is a kdx huh? Probably made after 1980 something?
This may or may not be of help but Kawasaki US site buykawasaki.com has the parts drawings c/w part numbers for KDX’s & most everything else Kawasakish.
Not as good as a manual but at least you can see where everything goes & if the parts you ordered were for your year & cc etc.
