New FMF Pipe

Just installed my new kg30 rev pipe today on my 220.... WOW... what a difference from the stock pipe
With the install I have two concerns -
1) a little more lean bog just off idle. I adjusted my air screw for best response (about 1/2-3/4 tunr out), but still have a slight bog. Is this normal? The rest of my jetting seems to be in line.
2) the kick starter lightly hits on the pipe when tucked away. I put some shrink tape around the kick shaft for now. Wondering if the KX kick start mod might help.
Mods are FMF rev pipe, and air box lid removed
Thanks
Lew

1. If I use the same jetting for my torque pipe that I use with my rev pipe, I'll foul a plug in a short while. Point is..pipes make a difference. If you haven't gone through a jetting sequence, you should. With a stock carb, it generally follows to enrich the pilot if you are that low on the AS. No, it's (bogging) not 'normal'. In most every case, it's a matter of jetting correctly...or better.
2. The rev pipe is h-u-g-e. Hard to miss it!:D Your kicker is probably worn out (aren't they all?). Mine does the same sort of thing with my torque pipe...except it hits the gas tank!
The (much) shorter kicker should take care of it. Keep in mind that putting a new lever on a worn out post isn't going to fix much. The general idea of replacing the lever is due to the OEM unit being bent..the post being fine. Both my post AND lever are shot. They've been welded, drilled, riveted and re-engineered a number of times. A new set-up is on my christmas list!!
