We have decided to buy the little guy a motorcycle for Christmas.
Based on what I have heard from other dads whose kids have or have had them I think that I want to get a PW50. Easy to learn to ride and easy to maintain.
Is there anything that I should look for or be aware of when picking out a used PW50?
Come on dads I know that you all have something to say regarding getting the first bike for the boy... Any help is appreciated!
P.S.
Is there anybody out there in Oregon that has a clean PW50 that they want to get rid of???

Have you thought about getting a used Z50 or XR50? It seems like this bike would be even more user-friendly than the PW50. I know the PW50 has not changed since....1981 I want to say. The XR50 at least has updated body work. One guy on here was having major problems out of a couple of PW50's that he owned, I'm sure someone will chime in with some help soon.
Good for you for getting your son a bike, I wish I had gotten a bike at 7 instead of buying my own at 17.
