kdx200, anything new/different for 02?

now that the new bike is out,, has anything changed from the 01?

Nothing has changed on the KDX200 since 1995, nor the KDX 220 since its 1997 inception. The seat cover, fork boots, tool pouch, and tank graphics went from purple to black in 1999 I believe. If you are looking to buy a new KDX and can find a good deal on a 2001, buy it, it's the exact same bike.

Im pretty sure that the 200/220 are exactly the same as they have always been (pre-95). This year new graphics are the only change I belive.

There were significant changes to the 1995 model. The motor, frame, and bodywork were updated. I think the last generation before that was 1989-1994. I believe 1989 was the first year for water-cooling on the KDX. On one of those model years, the KDX has white plastic. I believe it's 1990 or 1991.

Nope Nothing is new on the 02 kdx but the graphics thats about it so i would go with a used kdx or probaly an 01 or 02 because they are not that expensive new but they probaly run about the same as a used bike
