I have a 92 kdx 200 and when I did my top end I bought a Nix Pro-x piston from L.A. Sleeve. My dealer said they might change the porting. Are Pro-x Pistons more reliable or lighter than say wiseco. Again I was curious If I use two base or head gaskets will it decrease my compression giving me more top end.

No. your bike will run like a pig, the KDX's need more compression adding a base gasket will take so much power from your bike it will make you puke, add a head gasket is asking for a leak. if you add a base gasket and raise the compression to 185-195psi cylinder pressure (via head milling) and upgrade the reeds it will rev better. Don't forget the pipe, if you have the stock one it will never run optimum.
