Grey wire mod. Do I still have a rev limiter?

I'm kinda wondering if disconnecting the grey wire on my WR250 also disabled the rev limiter. Last hare scramble I really screamed the motor down a few short straights to pass or avoid getting passed and the motor never popped or stuttered. I know 13,500 is a high limit but I think it should have signed off a few times and I remember hittting the limiter before I made the mod when the bike was newer.
Thump (or scream) on!

The grey wire mod still results in a functionaL rev limiter.
On the dyno the wr426 still shuts down at 10500, well past its torque peak.

I have the grey wire mod done, And I KNOW that I have hit the rev limiter!:scream: With these high performance four strokes you really need to scream them to get maximum power/acceleration but if you are constantly hitting the rev limiter, than you are reving it too war.
