Moose Racemaker Software/datalog

I have the moose talking with the IR port on my laptop. When I download the datalog it is empy. There is noothing at all. It cycles up to 4000:19 or more and says it is done.
There is in fact data in the log when I goto 'alternate' and display it.
Anyone have any luck with this?
All other functions like upload and download programs work just fine.

It has been a few weeks so I cant remember exactlyu but it was a log of line entries of what you picked (distance difference or speed difference) and had actual non zero data. when I download and look at windows it is a toally blank log. nada zip nuttin at all except that little header that says " use your favorite spreadsheet blah blah blah. IR port is just a matter of getting it set up right. I meght be able to help you with that...JR

PS: give A-Loop a call or e-mail Pete.
Joe: the instructions for the IR transfer seem backwards to me, counter-intuitive. Therefore I have my (hacker) son do it.
