Our area Hare Scramble season starts on Feb. 24. I bet it will either be 20 degrees or we will get 5 inches of rain on the 23rd. I don't mind the mud, and 50 degrees is reasonable, but sheesh I can't quite get excited about this. What do you guys think?

consider yourself lucky. the goofy state championship mx series starts in january. they have two races in february and two in march. what are the chances of getting good weather? i considered racing the entire series this year until i saw the schedule. i'd rather ride in summer when it's 100 degrees with 90% humidity.

I'm with you on the MX. You will probably do well enough in points that it won't hurt you to miss a few races.

The TSCEC(Texas circuit) actually has an enduro in January.
Craig_enid has talked about going, I tend to think it might be to cold.

January 27th, and the last three years it was excellent weather.
If the forecast high is 45f +, I'm on the way! 
And yes, any and all are invited. DavTys has a Dr.s appointment the following Monday, so he's out.

I rode for 3.5 hours yesterday at Murray in 20 degree weather and had a blast. All you need is longjohns, 3 jerseys, neoprene jetski gloves, and a Jacket. February will be fine as long as it doesn't get to wet.

I rode from 10:30 to about 3:30 on Saturday and the high was about 40.Be sure and wear some thermals!!
