Any middle Tennesse riders this Saturday??

My buddy and I are itching to ride this weekend..probably Saturday because once again they are predicting rain on Sunday. Land between th Lakes is still closed as of today because of high water. Anyone have any suggestions within 11/2 - 2 hours of Nashville???

A friend and I plan on hitting West Point, TN sometime during the Holiday week. Not sure what day yet but it won’t be Saturday. He’s gone to Tunica to lose some money, Ha ha. It will be my first time there but my friend has been before. I’ve heard it has some great trails if that what your looking for.
Have you ever been there? It located a little below Lawrenceburg. Here’s a link to a map in a web thread from almotocross.com.

I have ridden there several times. Nice trails but the ***'s everywhere spook me. More ***'s than bikes in the free area. I've heard that NATRA has some land lease areas south of the free area that are pretty nice. I just called the Ranger station at Land between the Lakes and they said the OHV area is now open. I think we may ride there tomorrow since Sunday's weather looks bad.

Yea, I’m about tired of the rain…and cold.. come to think of it, I’m ready for SPRING/SUMMER!! I know, I know, this mess is just getting started. Hard to believe its almost Christmas!
The bike population has really rebounded recently. It seems a lot of people are getting away from the ***’s and back to or going to bikes. I never cared much for the 3 & 4 wheelers myself, especially in tight areas. They are fun in wide open areas though. Motocross down around our area (North AL.) has really taken off for all ages, too.
Enjoy your ride at LBL. I’ll let you know how the *** situation is at West Point now, If the weather holds this coming week out and we get to go. :P
