Is it worth it to do perf mods on a XR100?

My folks got a XR100 for me and my brother. Unfortunately he's 13 and I'm 21. The bikes just about perfect for his size but I'm a little big on it. What sort of mods can I do to this bike to make perform better? I think I saw somewhere that I could buy a performance engine kit to up the CC's to 120. Any help would definately be appreciated.
