Moose torque spacers

I have seen moose torque spacers for mx 250's.I know they increase bottom end power but what would happen if you used two of them or made a thicker spacer. Would this give you incredible amounts of bottom end or destroy engine response

on My 89 KX125 and it really made it run bad....
Killed the top end and did nothing for the bottom.
I think some bikes benefit while others suffer
