I have just gotten my new clarke tank for my '02 400 MXC. Had exactly two rides on the bike, the tank is like new, has had gas in it....will part with it fairly inexpensively if anyone has a need....get ahold me....

Was there anything wrong with the tank? Or, just don't need it any longer. I am curious, as I am considering this tank for a 400exc. thanks for any advice you can offer.

there is nothing wrong with the tank, had an exc before, don't need the capacity for dodging trees here in Michigan so I bought a clarke tank for my MXC, so now have a practically new '02 MXC tank in my garage. Probably would make a really cool lawn ornament when the spring comes!

Why the clarke tank versus stock exc tank? I am considering the same move.

For my needs the MXC tank is a little to fat, more capacity then I need, the EXC tank requires a fuel stop during a 3 hour HS, the clarke tank with the added capacity shouldn't require the fuel stop but still gives the thin feel of the EXC tank.
