just wondering how the forks work with a heavier spring rate?do the gold valves make a big differance?or do the forks work pretty good with just the springs?im 175lbs and intermediate rider(hairscrambles)and do ya really loose alot of the top end with a torque pipe on a 200? thanks for any info

The KDX handles much better with balanced suspension and for you that would mean heavier fork springs.

Try the fork springs first and if you are still looking for more then look into new base valves. They certainly do help.

No you don't loose any top end over the stock pipe in fact you gain some. The torque pipe is weaker on top than the rev pipe but both offer gains everywhere over the stock pipe.
