jw380,
I have not been there yet, but another place open is the "Swamp Fox" trail, Francis Marion Nat'l Forest just north of Charleston. There are two 20 mile loops of trails and tons of sand roads if you have a "street legal" bike. Lots of sandy whoops. It is totally unlike Uwharries or Brown Mt. which makes it really cool. Not a rock in sight! I did the Swamp Fox Dual Sport ride there last weekend before the enduro and had a blast. Check it out.

The riding is good if you like sand (and at the moment, lots of whoops). They are getting ready to do some major work to it very soon. The nice thing about riding there is that, even while it's raining, you'd be hard pressed to find any standing water or mud.
They have an MX track and three trails...one 1 or 2 miles, one 7, and one 9 miles (I think). You need a permit, info should be available from www.scohv.org
Also consider TNT, www.tntmotorsportsinc.com They had to close due to rain Saturday, but were back open on Sunday!

Thanks for the info.I'll have to check it out as soon as I get an S12 rear tire on for that sand. Those stock tires are dangerous.

Oh man, you'll be in heaven with S-12s out there (I'd suggest the front, too...but then I like the S12 front *everywhere*)
