What are the benefits for cutting down a subframe (250F) for a shorter rider? Drawbacks?

How could one go about performing the mod? Example: Carmichael-- cut subframe, higher pegs, seat foam cut out, less travel on the suspenson.

Any advice would help

Benifits is you can touch the floor.
Drawbacks are you may find parts dont line up correctly-panels,silencer.
Be very careful making sure the airbox boot doesnt rub as if you get a hole worn through it -engine rebuild time.
