Dear everyone.

I have just DIY my own fork and changed the oil. but when i screw back the top cap to the rod thing, there is a locking nut size 17... how much should i screw in the cap and lock it?

i screw it all the way and lock and now i have lost 10 clicks adj.

anyone knows whats the range to screw in? to get back my 30 clicks full range from left to right?

i use to have 15+/- each side. now i have only 10

please advise.

thanks a million.

Complete guess here as i have never worked on any-tighten the cap down until it bottom on the threads then move the locking nut upto it and tighten it-you should be starting with the adjusters full soft.If you are loosing clickers the rod the cap contacts isnt moving through its full travel(very small maybe 3mm)maybe the rod isnt located properly in the damper-try taking it out and refitting then push it in by hand-you should be able to move it a couple of mm.It is spring loaded and should return.

Camel,
Zokes are werid, and all are slighlty diferent.. But I've found that the comon probelm is that range has not been set, or the caps are over tightened.

To set range screw adjuster full soft.. Turn out the desired click range and then bottom on the rod.. Tighten abd your done.. This now is full stiff and you have back usable clicker range.

Regards,
Jer
