SERA HARESCRAMBLE advice needed

I will be signing up for the Harescramble series this year. My first...could some of you seasoned vets give some advise on which would be the most " appropriate " class for me to ride in. I'm old enough to ride the Senior class, but don't know if that class is made up of old farts that have been riding in the woods forever and finally reached the age to race in this class,or is it old farts(like myself...) that are just now wanting to race for the first time.
Then there is the 201- open C and the new "Beginner" class.Sorry for the stupidity guys...but I just don't know enough to make a rational decision and would hate to wait until sign-up time on the morning of the first race to figure out what class I'll be riding.
Any advice would be appreciated....See ya' in New Augusta

the senoir class in sera is a fast class it is faster than most classes listed. I suggest the open c or beginner.

Since it's open to any rider over 40 that's not a current "AA" rider, it's a pretty competitive class. It's mostly "A" & "B" riders and, like kawy said, it's a very fast bunch with one or two riders capable of finishing in the top 10 overall.
Stay in the beginner class until they make you move out to one of the "C" classes.
