Tony Tice is one of the guys behind Hot Cams who I met this weekend at Indy. He's a really nice guy and a major sicko gearhead. As we were talking about YZF cams and Super Motard he told me about his cool project bike that can lap faster than the SuperMotos at the Norway track. The bike? How about a YSR50 powered by a YZF426 motor? YIKES!!!:scream:

More of Tony's moto madness here

WOW!:scream: I bet he custom-milled his own shoehorn for that project!:D

I'm afraid that he's got a problem...where is he going to put the gas tank, on his back!!!

Is he the same guy that strapped the JATO unit to the 72 Chevy Impala!

Tony did a great job of integrating everything. Here's what it looks like in race ready form.

Sounds like they do some really cool stuff. Now what I want to know is what advantages are there to their new cams, and how are they different from other aftermarket cams?
Whats the REAL skinny Rich???

Is coming.
I wish I could stumble into an extra 426 motor.
Man what a cute little ripper.
Does our cam guy have a website?

Obvious benefit points are:
I'll be testing these on a YZ250F, a couple of YZ444Fs and a YZ426F as well as running a Cam Doctor analysis. I also be plugging the cam numbers into a DYnomation simulation to see how they fair so it should prove interesting.

Not at the moment but if you guys have any questions for them feel free to post them in this thread and I'll get answers when Eric and I interview them.

Are they going to be doing RFS cams? The 400 seems to be rather mild in stock form and I'm sure the 520 could be made to absolutely rip seeing how gentle it is now.

Anssi, a little bird told me that RFS cams and complete valve train will be around the corner...
