i would say go for the TT-R if your going to be riding trails alot. As far as how well it will do when ur jumping i have no idea just depends on you weight and how high ur going to jump it. On the other hand though if u plan to race some get the KX100 it'll have be better for jumping and racing and should be ok for trails. just my opinion.

Hi my name is Eric. Im about 4 foot 9 inches. Im thinking about getting a XR 80. Im thinking about riding MX and trails with it. Do think Its a good bike for me? I like 4 strokes. How is the suspension, can it handle MX. Any advice would be good. Thanks guys.

if u jump at all dont get the ttr125. my friend has one and it is way too easy too bottom out. if u do any motocross get the kx100. so much better suspention, and so much faster. All your friends will be left in the dust. but the ttr is a good trail bike if u dont jump it. but they dont have the power to do some things.

No, the XR 80 cant be mx'ed (effectively) nor does it have good suspension.
How old are you? My son is 11 and too big for the XR 80. He has a TTR 125 he rides in the woods, and I think he will be too big for that in a year or 2.
