2001 Drz 400e Exhaust ??

CAN ANYONE LET ME KNOW WHICH EXHAUST SYSTEM, JETTING MODS WOULD BE RECCOMENDED FOR WOODS RIDING, AS WELL AS SUSPENSION ECT. AS I JUST BOUGHT ONE AND NEED EXPERIENCED ADVISE.

you don't need to spend a dime, with the exception of jets. Pull the snorkel from the air box, put in a 165 main, 48 pilot, then remove the stinger from the exhaust.

If you pull the end cap from the exhaust, you'll see what I mean. You can get a hole saw and cut the center portion of the end cap out without damaging your spark arrestor.

Very small increase in noise, very nice increase in power.

Click on the link in my signature to see what I've done to my DRZ. I was pleased with it...until I bought my 426...different worlds!

Ammomac, you are correct. Though a slip on will net more power than the modified stock unit, don't you think? Three of my friend have Yoshmura and White brother's. I think the Yosh. is the best, especially with the header. As far as suspension goes, one of my frends has race tech's gold valves installed front and rear. It handles better than stock and seems to be worth the money. I believe the instructions are sufficient to allow you to do it yourself. AND if I am not mistaken, I think if may come with a video showing you how. Thumper racing's 440 kit is awesome too! It is very close to a WR 426 in shear acceleration and noticably more low end grunt! Enjoy! But remember, if you keep on modifying you might as well buy the 426!

Your ridin' bud Kurt
