I'm headin to Glen Helen this Saturday if anyone would like to go. I'll be there around 8am and will park up the hill, behind the grandstands. Not sure of the hauler yet but look for the 01 Zuki #214 Pro Circuit Graphics, yellow of course. Come on DRNers, we need to unite since Bundy will be gone!

I just picked up my YZ250 yesterday, i didnt need to chase you up for some numbers since it was used but from a dealer, but thanks for your offers of help anyway!
its been a very long time since i have ridden (which was on a much slower bike) so i dont think i will be ready for Glen Helen just yet, but i would definately like to hook up soon if thats ok?
If any of the guys down in San Diego are going out this sunday or next weekend please let me know if you are going to be at any more conservative riding areas where i can come and try my new bike out without having to go mad for it!

It has to be this saturday cause next saturday my wife puts my nads back in the freezer and has me doing a garage sale!!
I might plan something for next friday though, not sure just yet. Watch the posts and if you can make it this weekend, come out to Elsinore cause they're running a series at Glen Helen.

The Prairie Dog GP is at Glen Helen this weekend (both days). I've entered this event for the past two years - not sure about this year though....

It's set, we'll be at Elsinore Saturday at around 0800. I'll park near the 80 track and will be in a blue S10. White/blue YZ125 and Zuki #214. Hope to see you there!

I'm new to the area but would sure like to meet some people to ride with. I have not been to Elsinore but maybe I will have to give it a try. I have made it to VMC, Glen Helen, and Comp Park so far and enjoyed everyone of them. Have a great ride and maybe I will see you there. I would be in a black Dakota with a #5 KX250

I was there Sat morning but didn't see any 214 suzuki. Had a great time riding except for the fact I had no back brake. Maybe we'll try again some other time

Elk I need a favor. I hear you know of someone down in Huntington Beach who can repair damaged pipes. The pipe is in sad shape but its woth seeing if its repairable. Thanks for lead if you have it.

Mail it to Pacific Coast, they do one heckof a job. Check them out at www.piperepair.com. I've sent a couple there. It costs about 8 bucks to ship it there and 50 bucks for the work and return shipping.

Kaw your welcome to ride unfortunately Im out till I get the old bike running again. Unfortynately Red Mountain had itd way with my ride. What kind of riding are you intrested in? Motorcross or enduro type riding? When it comes to motorcross you have both VMC and Sunrise to chose from. Not to mention Glen Helen down the road. All are good places to ride. I personally prefer desert and enduro riding but Elk and Bundy are into the motorcross action.

All I've been doing since I got here was MX. I have no red or green sticker so I am limited there. I have been to VMC, Glen Helen, Comp Park, and Lake Elsinore and loved them all. I do miss the tight woods of Missouri though, but since they are under 5 inches of snow, I am sure glad to be here. My next ride will probably be March 17 to VMC. Anybody who want to come ride, I'll see you there.

Kaw, I was there saturday from about 8-12:30. we parked over by the 80 track but stayed on the main track all day, other than a quick lap on the GFI track. It's better you weren't with me, I face planted a table double!
At least I don't have to hear about here!!
Boodac, I brought my pipe to the guy in Huntington Beach, it's Shirley Design, 714-897-1641. He's local and pretty cheap. I opted to go there instead of shipping my pipe out. He likes to have the bike also to make sure all the mounts line up after the repair. He's been there for ages and I've seen his work, it's great. Goes from $30 up to $90, depending on the damage. I told him he might get some more business when I spread the word.
Kaw and Boodac, I'll ride pretty much anywhere but the slow trails and goat stuff doesn't do the Zuki justice. I'm thinking on a trip to Ocotillo real soon and a mid week ride to Glen Helen next week. I'll post it.
