Fork Oil -- How Much??

I have a 01 WR 250F and from time to time I get fork leaks..I have always pulled down the dust cover and cleaned out the junk, which seems to work. My question is, when I replace the oil, how much do I add? I usually insert it with a surenge until I think it is enough...
