01 YZ426 Vs. 02YZ426

New to the forum and have a question concerning the differences between the 2001 and 2002 YZ426. I can get a new 2001 YZ426 600 off list. Is it worth it, or is it better to get a 2002. Are there mechanical problems with the 2001 that I should be aware of. Thanks for any input.

The difference is not worth the money bike to bike,................but think of down the road when you are going to sell the bike. Telling someone you bought a new 01 on 02 just doesn't carry the weight.
If you intend on keeping the bike for a while I would stick with the 01.
I traded my 00 for an 01 beacause of the engine improvements, but have decided to wait for 03 because the 02 has only very minor changes.
