Springs without revalve?

Can I install stiffer springs in my 01 RM125, without revalving it??

Yes you can and it is relatively simple to do. Go to the MX Tech, or GP racing websights to find the correct spring rates for your weight and type of riding. If the stock springs are not the correct rate for you, your suspension will feel worlds better with the correct springs installed.

yz,
I am going to do the same thing with my honda. I weigh #210 and the CR250 is set up for #170 riders. I am going with stiffer springs from race-tech but do not want to spend the extra $140 on each end for valves. I guess after I install the stiffer springs .......then I should soften the rebound and compression damping settings ??? I am new at tinkering with the suspension spring rates and adjustments ....so any comments or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

greaser,
I wish I could be of more help, but I am not the suspension guru of this board. As you probably know, Race Tech has suggested clicker setting on their webpage, but they are for suspension with gold valves installed. MX-tech has an excellent page on their websight on how to set up your clickers. As far as a baseline setting, I would suggest contacting Rob Mann of GP racing. He has always given me good advice on where to start with spring rates, clicker settings, preload, and oil height. Good Luck!
