If anyone's interested there is a trail maintenance / clean-up group ride in San Bernardino on Saturday the 9th. The organizer is a guy named Mike Hobbs and the adopted trail is 3W11 (Metate Trail). The plan is to meet at the Pinnacles by the 173 at 8:30 AM. Once the work is done it sounds like we'll be doing some riding.
And I almost forgot ... Tina Hobbs will be cooking up burgers for all who attend.

Im trying to get out of some commitments so I can go.
I would encourage as many people as possible to go. Great people and a great cause.

I would love to help out but I'll be at the Wild Piglet/Boar enduro that weekend.

If I can convince my buddy to change our plans what should we bring to help in the effort? Do we need to bring tools?

Jeff - that would be awesome ! Good luck on working out the "arrangements".
Good Luck Thumbs ... kick some butt for the Club !
Granite - I wasn't told to bring anything in particular. You might bring along a few items just to be safe but I'm assuming they have it covered as far as tools and stuff. Hopefully we'll see you there ....

Eel,
I'll see if I can make it. What kind of maintance is it? Also what the sticker /plate requirments for this trail, and are those ugly nasty 4 wheeler type bikes ok on this trails. I was planning on riding up/ around there this sat anyway.

That would be great - I'd love to get a look at the WR up close. Honestly I can't answer any of your questions.
The trail looked pretty short from the map and he didn't mention anything about sticker restrictions. Hopefully we'll see you there ... I was hoping some DRN'rs would be up for it.

I would like to go, but. I went last weekend and my boss ain`t to keen on me going again this weekend. I told her I was going to work and it wouldn`t be that much fun. She isn`t buying in to that. She says she has work at the house for me. I`m trying to get things done . If I go it will be a last minute deal.
I think the same thing happened last year with trail maintenance in Gorman. The post was up less than a week before. I can`t go 2 weekends in a row so I need more lead time.
I will feel guilty for not helping out. Does that help any?
