Thank you for your reply.

Will a Torque pipe help a 200 or will the 220 always out torque it.

CQ

Not to start the whole pipe debate again, but in MY OPINION the torque pipe is a bad choice for either bike for anything above a snails pace.

It depends on what you want to do. Yes the torque pipe wil help the 200, ut if you want to go fast, then get a Pro-circuit pipe and silencer. If you want to rid ein tight woods get the torque pipe.

Which bike did you put that pipe on? What kind of riding did you do with that pipe?

If you have the 200 and do slower tight "woods" type of stuff, get the torque pipe.

If you have the 200 and you ride in open fast trails or desert, get the rev pipe.

For the 220, the torque pipe in my opinion is not the best choice. The torque pipe was designed for the 200, not the 220, because the 220 wasn't out when it was designed. You would be better going with the rev and then sending your carb to bored out.

Don't remember where I read this, but it was somewhere.

I was running a torque pipe on my 200 and recently switched to the rev. When
I had the torque pipe on, my freinds stock 220 could still out pull me. Now that I have
the rev pipe (by the way i did the rb mod and added a rad valve at the same time) My bike feels like i have a new motor in it. I may have lost a little low end
but what i've gained in mid/top is like night and day. I will have to say though
that it takes some getting used to. ive found that now i need to roll the
thottle alot more to keep from losing traction. the rear wheel spins alot more.
basically i cant be lazy anymore whe i ride Yes I can now EASILY
blow away my buddies stock 220. I would higly recomend a rev pipe.

Everyone has their own idea of 'what's best'. (That idea usually comes along with a good dose of, 'Everyone else is stupid!':silly: )

First part: Yes it will, depending.

Second part: No it won't, depending.

And even as washily put as that, some will disagree.

As the former posts indicate, it depends on where you ride, how you ride etc.

Why not buy both? I use a -35 usually. Also have a -30 that I strap on depending on <all the stuff listed above>.

A few minutes to change a pipe and rejet, and I have a bike with a completely different attitude.

It's like two bikes: two bikes: two bikes in one!:D
