Jeremy,
I was using Mx techs spring calculator. (thank you for that, I think they are great help) But I recieved what I thought was interestingly curious results, which I'm hoping you or someone else can shed some light on.
I'm setting up my brand new 2001 wr250f. I went through the program (my wieght= 210 lbs.) and when I hit desert enduro, it said to keep the shock stock, and stiffen the forks to .47's.
When I simply changed from enduro to MX, it recomended a stiffer shock (expected) but softer fork springs .45's than the enduro recomendations.
With my limited knowledge I would think MX would want stiffer spring than enduro's, correct?

ST,
Thanks man.. Thats called Error! We are working on a major clean up / tune up / redo/ of our sit right now.. When our web company made our site they made it very difcult to edit data.. Now we are going to have a more frendly database, so we can find errors like that quickly, short of you posting, it we don't know!
Regards,
Jer

Hey Scar, Call steve @ So.Cal Suspension System, he is an MX Tech asscociate., He just set mine up for the Dez, I'm 210# and he went with 46's and a straight rate in the rear, and I tell ya if he's work is any where near his service it's going to be awsome.
He can pretty much give you a recipe over the phone

Jer,
on a related topic, a friend and I were on you web site and check the spring rates for his CRF450. The rate generator came back with a different shock spring for MX and Desert/Enduro use. Was that intentional? I thought you need to keep the unladen sag withing a specific range when the race sag is set. Are you doing something different these days?
