I know this is old news for you KDX guys, but why in the H%LL dont the manufacturers put grease in the bearings?
I just bought my boy a new 220 and I am tearing it down for service before he ever rides it.Ive always heard about there being no grease, but man this is unreal!!!Why would they make such a good product, then omit such a important detail???Surely grease is not that damn expensive in Japan.
I guess Im just venting and looking for opinions.
I think they are doing it for parts business.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

All the manufatures do it, they are all the same. Now think about it how are they gonna make any money if stuff does'nt wear out. It's a real pain but unfortanatly that's what you have to do. What pisses me off is how hard would it be to but a bit of grease on them when they assemble the bike. I agree completely, it sucks.
