Used 87 KDX 200 ?

I have a chance to pick up a well used 200 for 400.00 bucks, but It needs a tank and side plastic. It has fresh top end and chain and sprockets but needs some work. I was wanting to get it for a spare bike for the family, is it worth the 400.00 or not? Thanks John
