Our first ever SX

The New Orleans SX will be mine (and the kids) first ever SX event. I have some questions about what to expect. On the pacesupercross web page, it says the gates open at 12:30 and the main event starts at 7:00 PM. Does that actually mean "THE main events" (both 125 and 250) start at 7P? I was under the impression that racing went up to 10 or 11 PM. When does heat racing start? Any info would be appreciated.

Plan on getting there early there is practice from 12:30 til about 2:30 or so then the prequalifiers start. The main qualifiers start around 7PM and racing the mains is usually around 8:30 or 9.
Often the pits are open before the doors open and riders can be found there. Don't forget to try finding Friday night meet and greet oportunities at local shops.

They are normally between 1:30 and 4:30, but it gets crouded so I would get there earlier than later.

me, my son and five of my friends will be there in section 209. you will enjoy it. the way they did the autograph sessions last year is that they put the riders in several different tunnels and it was very organized. hope to see you. look for the guy standing next to a kid with big red ear muffs on.
