Taking son to New Orleans SX for first time. What is the schedule for entering pits and autograph signing ? What time to be there for all the action ? Any info would be helpfull.:confused:

The pits open to the public at around 12.30 ( you have to buy a temp pit pass for $10 that lasts from 12:30 to 4:30 or 5:00) , pre- lim qualifiers start around 2:00 I believe. Autograghs signings are between 2:00 and 4:00 roughly.

Billy, do you know if the pit schedule/availability is the same for all the supercross rounds? We are going to the Dallas race and I've gotten conflicting info on whether you can go into the pits at all. Thanks for any info!

kyzdad I be there with ya. My son's a little bummed its his first and he hears Pastrana'a out for observation. What section are ya gonna be in?

I can't say for sure that they are all the same, I'm not 100% sure on Dallas. A couple stadiums have the pits inside I think, so stuff like that would change the format or not allow it at all, so you should dig a little deeper for the particular venue you are going to.

According to Clear Channel's website, the pits are open from 12:30 - 5:30 for Dallas. Not for sure though because it shows that the pits are closed to the public for New Orleans. I hope for everybody going to New Orleans SX that the website is wrong.

The pits arent open to the public in n.o. b/c of a loisiana law for something its only parts ulmited dealers that canget in.and the gates to the dome open at 12:30

We got pit passes from a friend who works the race, but he says you can buy them for $10 each. I can't guarentee he is right but you might want to check.
