Does stiff suspension cause arm pump?

I get arm pump on my 2001 wr250f worse than I ever have on any bike. All my other bikes were 2-stroke 250's with way more power and hit but they had softer suspension. Could suspension be that important in terms of arm pump? It does feel slightly stiff.

you'll be best served to ask the professionals as to the correct or stock spring rates of your bike. Check your owners manual for starters. For trail riding softer/stock is better. The faster your pace the spring stiffness feels less critical.:D

definately, suspension setup has a big affect on body fatigue.
