No click...Why no click?

Earlier I posted a thread about my suspension clickers.(Long time ago...Just cant find it!) On my compression dampers for my forks, I just cant seem to find the detents. Its a smooth 2 turns of travel, with no hint of a click, or detent. I've put my ear up to it and slowly wound it through the travel, and have heard nothing. I cant feel any dentents either.

The manual says the forks have detnets on the suspension clickers. (20 i think). It also says to make sure the clicker is located in a detent before riding. I think i broke this rule, unless the whole thing is one big detent.

My forks are Showa Inverted Twin Chambers. Could it be possible that there is something wrong with my forks, or am i just really messed up?

The click is made by a ball bearing dropping into a small detent-yours may be crudded up and so the bearings arnt dropping into the detents. It doesnt actually matter if they click but it just helps to get both forks the same. You could count the number of turns and work that way. Also you could get them serviced.

My bet is that oxidation has fouled em up. Keep your fluid fresh. :D

bike is 2 months old, I wouldnt expect both forks to be screwed up.

Right now I just count the number of turns

the dealer the bike was bought from should repair a 2month old bike.have you asked them about it?

nope

I'm going back to a local honda dealer in the next week to pick up some rings, (although this dealer is not the dealer i bought from). I will ask them
