Suspension Problem KTM300EXC 2002

The Suspension is almost there. We ride in woods with wet clay type soil with some bare roots and deep ruts. The bike suspension is standard and is very confortable and forgiving. However it has an annoying habit of trying to climb out of straight ruts which the other bikes don't.

This might sound a little vague Anybody have any ideas what causes this habit and what to do??
