2002 KTM 125 SX Plug recomendations?

Hello,

KTM recomends an NGK BR8EVX plug for this bike. But, they cost $8.55 each!

Can I use another plug in the 8 series? The BR8 ES is only $2.50.

I have had the same plug for 6 months. My dealer recommends change once per year. Is he wrong?

Mine has fouled a few times due to jetting issues.

I just want to order a few more so I have a stash of them just in case.

Otherwise, I'll just use the same plug until it goes...
