94 kdx is dripping gas from the small hose at the bottom of the carb. Gas is shut off but its still dripping pretty consistently. Any help would be great.

Sounds like the float is sticking, try taping the side of the carb and see if it stops.

There's two or three things that can cause this.
1. Sometimes bringing a bike in a warm basement
from the cold can cause the fuel to expand and push
the excess out the overflow. Fix-cut fuel tap off before
bike and run some out.
2. Dirty fuel tap. Fix- remove fuel tap from tank and
clean, while your in there replace the o-rings if they're
the least bit hard.
3. Bad or dirty float needle. Even with a dirty fuel tap
the float should stop the flow of gas. This would be my
guess. You can go to buykawasaki.com and see the same
information that the factory manual has, just fill in the
information ( vin-make-model-ect ) and it'll pull it up.
Take the carb off, remove the float bowl and check
out the float neddle and seat. If the needle is pitted
with a ring around it it's time for a new one....
hope this helps...TN.220

My 94 suddenly started leaking at the over flow after turning fuel on one day; re-adjusted floats and all is well. The sutoff will not affect float bowel problem but should be fixed for safety reasons.
