I need your help on a school project...

Please answer these Questions for me.

What do you think it means to be an american?

What is your definition of the american dream?

also, what are your thoughts on the vietnam war?

Thanks...I'm supposed to ask these questions to someone over 30 years old...and i really couldnt find anyone else... (parents were out of town, and my aunt wouldnt pick up the phone!)

1. The never ending responsibility to defend, protect and ensure that the rights and freedoms our forefathers entrusted us with will be intact for generations yet to come.

2. The freedom to live life to the fullest extent of my ambition.

3. It was a terrible mistake. Good intentions gone bad. Never again should we allow war to be waged by politicians!

Good job KW.... I don't think dell will need much more than that.

1. To be able to live in a country that gives us freedom of religion. To live in a country that was founded on that principal. To have the privlidge to live in the greatest nation on earth.

2. To be able to have the opportunity to complete my goals to the extent of my abilities without hinderance from govermant (except for taxes )

3. Vietnam is the result of not allowing the generals in the field fight the war the way a war needs to be fought. As KW said we had good intentions, but we stopped ourselves from winning. It is sad that we pervented our own soldiers from doing the job we asked them to do. Oh and by the way, all the people who protested against our soldiers and gave them a bad welcome back after they put their lives on the line... Those people need to be put away to rot.
