Need info on this area.I hear its legal to ride atv,but what about motorcyles?

we snowmobile up there,and i know that there are some atv clubs that ride all summer.i think that a lot of the trails are state land so if you are registerd and insured i dont thik anyone would care.i plan to ride the new bike there this spring,and would like a little more info myself
