New White Bros. Pipe interferes with blinkers on 1998 Honda XR650L.

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone out there has tried to put a White Brothers "E Series" pipe on a 1998 Honda XR650L. I cannot install it because it interferes with the blinker assembly. There is a welded blinker bracket that is directly in the way. I have been told it is the only model number for my bike. Has anyone ever relocated or raised the blinker assembly on a XR650L or experienced this problem.

I have seen some aftermarket rear fenders, not neccesarrily for your bike, that have the blinkers tucked behind/beside the seat. I have no idea if they are DOT approved, but it's worth looking into. They are either UFO or White Bros....Maybe I saw them in the WB catalog?!?
