This coming saturday (the 20th) we're planning to go ride the dorr run loop. Anyone else going to be in the area or willing to make the trip, the first real ride of the season it should be a good one.

we might try to hit the hanging rock area down by ironton then, if none of you guys from up north can make it down. I hear it's nice
Posted by: el presidente---------------------
jeff, why all the sudden are u interested in this ironton area? i guess i am going where ever u are going, considering u are pulling my bike down.
Posted by: SPD---------------------
Hey guys did yiu go to Ironton? If so how was it.?
Posted by: el presidente---------------------
yea we went to ironton, had a blast, the trails aren't as difficult as nelsonville, but an overall good time. we rode all of the main trails, about 33 miles worth, we didn't venture off the trail, so we didn't get lost. there are lots of side trails, lots of quads, and lots of little rain whoops, so u get alot of time in the air. me and jeff will deffinately venture back again.
does anyone fell like ride in nelsonville sunday? and i am off saturday also, if anyone wants to come ride richland.
Posted by: SPD---------------------
Shau and another friend rode nelsonville today. To wet and cold for me. I have to work next weekend. Not sure wich day, my choise.

WHATS UP JEFF,AZBELL HAD A GOOD TOME ON YOUR TRACK JEFF WE'LL HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN WHEN IT'S NOT POURING DOWN THE RAIN. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO LEARN TO WASH THERE LITTLE 2 HUNDRED
Posted by: danielst---------------------
If anyone is interested, we ride a lot in Vinton County, about 35 miles from Door Run, outside of McArthur. It is a little more rugged than Wayne and not nearly as hardpacked as those trails. I don't really know how many miles are in there, but we always have a lot of fun. And, there are some pretty nice hill climbs, some good quad width single track and some good open fire roads.
If anyone is interested, email me and we can try to set up a ride on a Saturday. Sunday is usually a race day.

WE RIDE ALOT IN VINTON COUNTY AND JACKSON COUNTY IF YOU WANT TO HOOK UP AND DO SOME RIDING. YOU RACE D-11 HARE SCRAMBLES DONT YOU? I THINK I HAVE RACED AGIANST YOU IN THE 250 CLASS. MY NAME IS BRYAN HOLLINGSHEAD #387 RM 250
Posted by: danielst---------------------
Hey Bryan,
Yeah, I race some in the 250 class. I'm a Quad racer by nature but have been racing bikes lately, trying to get faster and for a new challenge. I just traded off my KTM for a YZ as I just could never get comfortable on the KTM.
As for riding, I'd love to hook up and go. I have a hard time finding people to play ride with and finding some guys that live over my way would be awesome!
Are you going to ride the Chillicothe Enduro this Sunday. The club grounds where they start is real close to where I live. If I can get the YZ broke in and the weather isn't crazy bad I'm planning on racing it.
Posted by: smb_racing---------------------
I had planned on riding the funduro up there, but I have a lack of money
I think I'll venture out and watch though, as long as it isn't pouring down rain.
I see you found DRN Bryan, man, lay off the caps how bout it
Jason, you parked your bike on my boots and tub of bel-ray, come get it before I part it out.
Ironton was fun, the trail was about as tight as the dorr run loop, a lot of rain runoff bumps but they're a lot of fun. Trail is mildly rocky in places, they took a dozer down one path and it's choppy. The Lyra trailhead is the nicest one, it's paved, all three trailheads have loading mounds but no porta johns. Trail is mostly hardpack, and it's as slimy as nelsonville in places too. Most of the bridges aren't slick though, well, except for one

Hey Travis, I am planning on running the enduro on sunday. Need to get some seat time, been on the bike once in two or three weeks. If you make it over look me up and we'll make some plans to do some riding.
Posted by: el presidente---------------------
Brain, when did u get on dirtrider.net, don't make fun of my 200, so it's alittle dirty. we need to go riding sometime, were all going to WAYNE this sunday, so if anyone wants to come, come on up
Posted by: GNCC387---------------------
Hey azbell if you want to do some riding, come on over to the chillicothe enduro on sunday for some good riding and some great hills to climb. Yoy know u can't hurt the 200 any worse than it is. P.S. you need to tighten your bolts for your handlebars where they bolt to the triple clamp cause i could move them. jollys came loose on his when we went to the georgia gncc. and you did not get your front wheel straight yet either have some one hold it and look at it from the front and you will see. Hope to see you at chilli sun if u ain't to scared of a good enduro
Posted by: el presidente---------------------
hollingshead, i know, i was telling jeff the other day that they weren't straight, i don't know that to do, i think the triples are bent. and this is the 2nd time bars have came loose, i know they are, i just didn't get to tightning them the other day. i would ride the enduro but i am flat assed broke. i am going to try to ride the national if i can, even if it does kill me. get ahold of me and we'll do some riding. what did u think of the track? did jeff take u on the whole thing?
Posted by: danielst---------------------
Cool Bryan, I'll probably hunt you down at the Enduro on Sunday then. I am planning on going down to New Vienna MX to ride on Wednesday afternoon to break in the shocks and put in some seat time. The YZ is still a little harsh for the woods.
I've only ridden a couple of Enduro's but man are they a blast. I noticed today that the route runs up my road again this year, they arrowed it yesterday.
