Anybody going ? For those that live out that way, has there been any rain over the last 2 weeks, and what tires do you desert guys use ?

I'm racing on Sunday.
The weather has been dry. We had some rain last weekend and a little the first of last week, but it has been dry and warm this weekend.
I went out and helped set the course last Saturday, it should be pretty fast and not as wet as it has been the last couple of years, unless we get lots of rain this week.
Most of the riders over here are running a soft or a medium tire compound. The dirt is pretty soft for the most part with rocks inter-mixed.
It should be a great race and I hope that you make it over.

It was a lot of fun.
The weather was nice and sunny. They had a big turn out and went to a gran prix start this year. The course was twelve miles of fast single track with a lot of rocks mixed in and a couple of mud bogs to keep things interesting.
