spark arrester end cap???

Is there such a thing (from an aftermarket company) that will turn a stock CR silencer into a spark arrester at a fraction of the cost of a new silencer? I thought I read something about aftermarket spark arrester endcaps. I would just buy the whole thing but only need it for a couple of trips this summer and plan on getting a new bike in the fall. Beleive it or not a newer KDX silencer fits on with only a minor modification to the rubber sleeve that connects them. The bolt holes line up good and it clears the sidepanel and tire excellant, but that is plan 3. Thanks for any info plans to go to West Virginia in 2 weeks.

Agree on the Cobra Sparky, I got one for my CR and so far, so good. If you run a shorty silncer, you have to do some dremel work to get it to fit securely.

I was looking to put one on my OEM silencer for my YZ but past experience tells me it won't fit that good from the looks of things. My Silencer has a Ridge running up the top which I know would require some grinding down. How far does it slip down on the silencer? not alot of space before the top mounting bracket. They also don't list '02 models yet ?
