Howzit! Do any of you know whether the rear mud-guard and number plate from the Yz 250 '02 fit on the Wr 250 '02. If so, can you just disconnect the headlight connections and tape them up or is it a bit more complicated than that??

no sir, it is that simple. the rear mud guard goes straight on and so does the number plate. i have done it to my WR, and it looks so much better. go out and do it!

Boozer, I heard that you need to buy Yz wheel spacer & seal because the "tripmeter" has to be removed! Did you do this? Is your Wr a 2002 and if you have pictures of it I would love to see what it looks like with the new accesories. Thanks mate. :D

if you want to keep your front wheel looking neat, then yes, you need to buy the spacer where the speedo drive used to be (on the front wheel axle). in my case, i simply unscrewed the speedo drive cable and plugged the hole with a rubber cap i had in my garage. you need to undo the phillips head screw on the side of the drive and the cable will just slide out.
my bike is a 2001, but this area has not changed on the 2002 models.
i will need to get a camera and post a few pictures! i have all the mods done with a full Werx sticker kit. i like to think it looks pretty darn trick!
have you visited www.thumpertalk.com? there is a WR/YZF250 forum and you will find heaps of information there on your new bike. i'm DOC over there, so be sure to say hello if you go!
