Has anyone raced the Central VA 100 in Dillwyn, VA before? if so, whats the track like?

I rode it the last two years and I like it. It's got a variety of terrain. You ride on the motocross track which is clay dirt with no nasty whoops or big jumps. There's a lot of fairly tight trails in the woods and some more open trails in the fields. I think a lap is around 8 miles and the race 5 laps.

cool...i race a CR250 in the C class...hard to miss...weird number plate and alot of WER stickers. ill be hanging out in a white V-nose trailer in a WER hat before the race, so if you see me stop on in and say hi, its nice to see some DRN'rs. Good luck

Hopefully if we get some rain it wont be as dusty as it has been in the past. That thick red clay dust can really clog you up!

yzeater- Yeah I rode the Blue Grey. I like riding the Buds Creek motocross track but I'm not really a motocrosser so it's fun to do the hare scrambles there. I didn't ride the first VCHSS race this year since I hate riding in a heavy rain but I'm going to try to make the rest of them.

tallbob - is it just me or were those whoops through the woods VERY tiring? You probably rammed and yelled at me a time or two

yzeater- The worst for me was the acceleration bumps on the wide trails in the woods at buds creek. You had to be up on the pegs or they would beat the crap out of you. I'm in the old and slow class, you probably passed me.

i dont know tallbob, yzeater is in the young and slow class :confused: (sorta like me).

Thanks Joe. I passed 4 people who weren't on the ground...I started counting how many I passed / passed me...after the A class caught up it was impossible to count
